AGIRÎ – With a military operation ongoing at the border between Mount Tendürek and Diyadin, clashes in the area have intensified. Local villagers are unable to leave their homes.

With a military operation launched on Mount Tendürek located between Ağrı’s Diyadin and Doğubayazıt districts and Van’s Çaldıran district one week ago, violent clashes in the area continue. According to reports received from local sources, the clashes have intensified around Rıhmequlî (Rahmankulu) village and the hamlets of Tutek, Taşkesand (Taşkesen) villages, Ket Hill, Hesoşeref ,Gola Qaza, Kul and Grê Dêm regions of Diyadin in last three days.

The ongoing drones’ activity over the area has continued. The villagers say they are unable to leave their homes.
