NEWS CENTER- Kongraya Star announced that Turkey will face revolts and uprisings of the people if the attacks on liberated areas and Efrîn Canton continue.

Kongreya Star released a written statement titled, “Erdoğan will never live out his Ottoman dreams”concerning the attacks of Turkey on Shehba region and Efrîn Canton. The statement of the Kongreya Star is as follows: “Turkish state is acting with an occupant mindset both inside and outside. They don’t refrain from applying any kind of barbarism in order to block the peoples in the Middle East and Rojava- North Syria. Turkish state is strengthening its relationships with Daesh more day by day by using “I clean Daesh from my borders” as an excuse.

Last night, the invading Turkish army started bombing the Um Al-Qura, Um Al-Hosh and Al-Hesiye villages in the Shehba region, where liberated from the gangs by Revolutionary Forces intensely, with Daesh. The bombing occurred a few hours after the Revolutionary Forces liberated five villages around the Shehba Dam and one cell tower belonging to Syriatel Company form the gangs. Turkey has shown once again with these practices that they are partner with Daesh, protecting them and they are not in favor of the region to be liberated from Daesh. This shows that; Turkey’s purpose is not fighting against Daesh, on the contrary, they want to fight against revolutionary forces fighting against Daesh.

Meanwhile, warplanes of Turkey bombarded the liberated villages in Shehba. Turkish army also launched artillery attacks on the villages in Cindirêsê and Raco districts of Efrîn Canton. The attacks, which launched at 1 a.m. continued until 7 a.m.

With the attacks launched by Turkish army following the liberation of five villages and several hamlets in the region by the Revolutionary Forces, Daesh gangs began their attacks simultaneously and the attacks continue. Turkey will face revolts and uprisings of the people if the attacks on liberated areas and Efrîn Canton continue.

Bombing of the region and villages in the Efrin Canton continues. Dozens of civilians have lost their lives in the attacks. We condemn the attacks of Turkey on Shehba and Efrin strongly. We call on the international public opinion to not remain silent against Turkey’s attacks.”
