AMED – Police attacked the employees of the Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality, who protested the raid on the municipality and didn’t enter the building. Hundreds municipal employees were battered.

The police blockade around the building of the Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality continues. Municipal employees refused to enter the building by saying, “We won’t work in the municipality where police are. Police answered them, “Enter the building or go”. Municipal employees began to shout slogan, “Pressures cannot intimidate us” and police attacked hundreds of people and battered them. The protest of employees continues.
