ISTANBUL- Free Women’s Congress (KJA) Spokesperson Ayla Akat Ata was detained during the police attacks on the people, who gathered in front of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality in order to protest the arrest of co-mayors Gültan Kışanak and Fırat Anlı.

The protest in front of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality continues. While, the people don’t leave the municipality despite police attacks with water cannon, police attacked the people in Ali Emiri Sokak Street and on the road to Dağkapı. A group of women, including the Free Women’s Congress (KJA) Spokesperson Ayla Akat Ata were detained during the police attacks.
