ISTANBUL – Abdullah Çakıroğlu, who attacked Ayşegül Terzi for wearing a short, has been released from the prison. Women react to the decision by shouting slogans.

On September 20, Ayşegül Terzi took a bus to go to home; however a man named Abdullah Çakıroğlu kicked her in the face in the bus for wearing a short. Abdullah Çakıroğlu has been released on condition of trial without arrest in the first hearing held in Anadolu Courthouse in Kartal.

As Ayşegül Terzi fainted when she heard the decision, the women react to the decision by shouting slogans.
