MERSİN – Many people, including Council Member of Akdeniz Municipality Hediye Eren and the HDP District Co-chair Mesude Şahin, have been taken into custody in Mersin.

Many people, including Council Member of Akdeniz Municipality Hediye Eren and the HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) District Co-chair Mesude Şahin, have been taken into custody in the Şevekt Sümer Neighborhood of Mersin’s Akdeniz district. Detained people were taken to Mersin Police Headquarters.
