AMED – A big banner was hung on the building of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality for Gültan Kışanak and Fırat Anlı.

Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality employees hung a banner on the municipality building. There were the pictures of detained co-mayors Gültan Kışanak and Fırat Anlı on the banner and it reads, “Respect the people’s will and release our co-mayors.” Police officers removed the banner by force.
