AMED – Women will get together in Koşuyolu Park and march on November 25 under the leadership of the TJA (Free Women's Movement). Zekiye Güler called on all women to join the march against the AKP’s laws and concept of war.

Yesterday, the Free Women’s Congress (KJA), Kurdish women’s roof organization, announced that they would continue as Free Women’s Movement (Tevgerên Jınên Azad-TJA). The TJA’s first work will be various events like organizing a march and making a statement on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women 25 November. In this context, women will march in diyarbakır under the leadership of the TJA. The women will get together in Koşuyolu Park at 1 pm and after issuing a press statement, they will march.

Zekiye Güler, one of the activists of the TJA, stated that November 25 is the day of women’s resistance against violence and continued, “Statements and event will be held in many districts. We will march on November 25 by gathering in Koşuyolu Park. We should stand up and raise our voice against the AKP’s bans and war policy. All women should take the streets on November 25.”
